Logo Designing is not an easy job as many people think. On the other hand, lots of so called designers are taking part in this industry. But its true that they don’t know how to design a logo  that really worth. Today I thought to share some the common Logo Design Mistakes to avoid. May be or may not, you are practicing this mistakes. If not, click on the close sign (X) of your browsers tab and move to your job.

A Poor Logo Design is the best of examples of Logo design mistakes. Now you are thinking what is a Poor logo? Let me show you some of the examples of Poor logos. Here they are.

Ok so did you noticed? The logo is using clip art without any decent color combination.

This logo is very funny, the designer need to think before design any such icons. Isn’t its look something odd? Well this logo represent something different message, what they really wants to.

Ok, Let me back to 5 Common Logo Design Mistakes.

#1.Using Clip art from google or any other resource:

One of the biggest Logo design mistakes, designers used to do. Using clip art isn’t a bad practice in logo design? Well yes, You should not use any clipart in your logo design project whether from google image or any other resources. You should design a unique clip art with your own ideas.

#2. No color combination:

Ahhh! another common mistakes a newbie Logo designer used to practice. You might be seen some logos without any proper marketing research.  You might have seen some logos that uses Glitter text, special effects like too much drop shadows, improper glossy. A good logo, doesn’t require any special effects. Here is an example of Good Logo without any special effect.

#3. Bad Typography

This is another biggest mistake people doing in Logo designs. A better typography makes a logo so powerful and stand out from the crowd. People mostly use funky fonts, bad spacing and alignments and too much fonts, these all things makes a logo so ugly. Its better to use one fonts if possible, nice spacing not too much. Better fonts, don’t use too bold or too thin fonts. Have a look at the previous olympic logo, its too bad, isn’t it?

#4.  Stealing concepts

I have seen many designers who mostly steal concepts from any other Logo, and then they change the color, change the font and then prove that they designed the logo. But one day, you will caught by someone. So, its good not to steal and use your own concept.

#5. Adding too much Concept

Adding too much concept in one logo is another bad practice in logo designs. Don’t use more than one or two concept in logo design, because it will confuse the audience what actually a logo is trying to convey the message. Better use only one concept on each logo.
