Some one asked me through email that “How to find High Resolution images”?. Well there are lots of tutorial on finding high resolution images, but I think many designers or people didn’t getting what they want. SO I decided to write my tips on How I find the best and high resolution images.
Since, Mostly high resolution images can be found through stock images website, you can visit many stock images sites such as www.istockphoto.com, www.bigstockphoto.com or www.corbisimages.com. But did you know, many times we fail to find the best images that perfect for our designs and also they charge for the images.
Now I am going to tell you How to get High resolution images for free from google Image. Yes you can get it for free only you need to do some setting on google Image
So let gets start:
1. Open google image and click type the image name you want. I am going to find “Cars”. Here we go.
2. Now have you seen the the settings icon the right side, click on it and it will bring advance search option.
3. Now you will get some advance search option, choose the settings which I used, look at the below screen shot:
You have to tweak only in the “Then narrow your results by…” column. Here is the settings:
image size: Larger than 15M
aspect ratio: Wide
type of images: Any type
region: Any region
file type: any format
Than click on advance search. Now you will get the best High resolution images from google search itself.
Have a look at this image, what I got after using this simple tweak on search
Hope this tutorial will help you in getting good images for your online presence. Thanks for reading this tutorial.

Hi Ifham, thanks for the advice. I have a question, when you get images this way how can you be sure that they are royalty free? I use iStock and they send me free images every month. Some of them are really great.
Hey Ileane, thanks for the comment, actually I forgot to tell you about how to filter the royalty free images on google image. Here how you can do this:
Click the “Advanced Image Search” link to the right of the Search Images button.
Enter the term or image type to search for in the “Find Results” Section.
Select the content type desired from the list of content types.
Select the “labeled for commercial reuse” option in the “Usage Rights” drop down.
Click the “Google Search” button.
Review the results provided.
Thanks
