In my last article I told you about why business cards are must have? As you have understood the importance of having business card, let’s move further. Today, I am going to describe how should be a professional business card.

Things That should included in a business card:

#1. Your company/brand name(logo)

#2. A person/individual  name(owner)

#3. Contact number(only one)

#4. Email address

#5. Tagline(if any)

#6. Website address

These are the essential things that should be included in a business card. You can also include other things but I think this is enough info. Because there should be some blank space on your business card. After knowing these things, it’s turn of the place. I mean where to put which information on business card.

I’ll talk about the two sided  business card. Because they are the good ones. On the front, only two things should be there i.e. your company/brand logo and tagline. Rest of the info should go backside.

Simplicity: Well, this is a common word  in these days but yet effective. Everyone likes simplicity. And your business card should be simple but creative.

Size and Shape: The standard size of a business card is 3.5’’ x 2’’. But the creativity has no boundaries. That’s why we see lots of other shapes business cards like circle, square,etc.

Colors: Every color has its own importance. The color of  your business card depends on your type of business. Here is the article for color psychology of business cards .

Font: Never use irregular fonts. And make your font size bigger so that it can be easily readable.

Paper  and printing work: Although you have designed your business card professional, using cheap paper for business card makes it unprofessional and cheap. Print your business card on good heavy weight business card stock.
