How I became Freelance Logo Designer? One of the most asked question from me. People asked me How I started my Logo designing career? How I build my network? How my old clients always back to me? So here is the quick overview of my freelance Logo designing career.
Earlier I was in the field of Graphic designing only, I used to do work for our own (My Dad’s) Publication that is AL-HIRA FOUNDATION, which publishes Arabic Books for students. I designed Eight (8) parts of the books using different graphics for all the page. I really hate the job because its too much time consuming as well as I don’t get a single buck for it (LOL
) as its our own publication though.
Later I jumped in the field of logo designing as I always want to be. One day I designed some of the logo’s and what? It was liked by many of my friends. And then I started my career as a Freelance Logo designer. Actually this blog (MashDesigning) is started as a logo designing service website, but later I converted it to a well Known designing blog, because of some issue with my partner, who is not with me now.
#1.How I get more and more clients every day?
This is another question, people asked me that How I get clients? and the answer is as simple as that. My work is creative, I design what my clients want. I never go against my clients (As it is a stupidity) If possible, I explain them about the design, else they are clients, Yes clients I mean to say. You can read more tips here: How to get more clients for freelancing
#2.How I build my network?
Remember Logo designing and graphic designing career is all about recommendation, So We all know we get recommendation from our old valuable clients so, never forget the old clients as they are the backbone of any freelance logo designer. The most important part to build network is make friendship with your clients, and then I am sure they will recommend you for sure. Earlier I gave many logo’s for free to my friends and then what I got is every day a new client for my logo designing service.
#3.How I talk to my clients to make the deal successful?
Yes, your talking habit is also important part of your Freelancing career. What you should have is, a good talking habit. Don’t ever be rude with your clients, even they are rude to you, because you are building relation with the clients at least to get recommendation. Some time I was annoyed because of the payment, as some of my clients always take more time to clear the payment as from what I expect. But even though I don’t ever rude with them because we all know, it takes years to build relationship, but takes a second to destroy.
It takes years to build relationship, but takes a second to destroy.
#4. Why should I never go for crowdsourcing?
Yet another question from my freelance friends. They always recommend me to go for crowdsourcing to get even more and more clients. But I always tell them, No I am not for crowdsourcing, as it wastes my times and yours too. Want to know how? read my article why crowdsourcing is a waste of time.

I’ve been a graphic artist designer for around 20 years now. I’m just somewhat a new comer to blogging
and come across your website while looking for design blogs and forums.
I have to say just how empowered I am with your expertly written content and
also the overall good quality of your website.
Hopefully , I can build up a blog just like your own and will follow your posts with great attention.
Thanks a lot for your ideas buddy.
